Näyttelyprojektimme rakentui kävellen tapahtuvasta kaupunkitilan tutkimisesta, jonka lomassa toteutimme kaikki näyttelyyn tulevat teokset. Käveleminen on ihanteellinen tapa nähdä läheltä ja ehtiä havaitsemaan pieniäkin asioita. Kävelemällä maailma on juuri sen kokoinen kuin pitää. Työskentely tapahtui aikavälillä 13.10-18.10.2019 Antwerpenissä.
Teimme Antwerpenissä päivittäisiä kävelyretkiä, joille otimme mukaan tarvittavat työskentelyvälineet. Tavara ei saa merkittävästi haitata kulkemista tai rajoittaa päivän aikana käveltävän matkan määrää. Sattuma ja tarjoutuvat mahdollisuudet vaikuttavat omalta osaltaan teosten muotoon ja tekotapoihin. Teosten aiheet nousevat kulkemistamme matkoista, kaupunkiluonnosta, ympäristökokemuksista, kohtaamistamme tilanteista ja detaljeista. Näyttelyn teoksissa pyrimme määrittelemään ihmisen suhdetta ympäristöönsä.

Our exhibition project was built around a walking exploration of the urban space, during which we created all the works in the exhibition. Walking is an ideal way to see up close and have time to notice even small things. Walking makes the world exactly the size it should be. The work took place between 13.10-18.10.2019 in Antwerp.
We took daily walks in Antwerp, for which we brought the necessary working equipment. The items must not significantly hinder movement or limit the amount of distance walked during the day. Coincidence and the opportunities that arise influence the form and methods of the works. The themes of the works arise from the journeys we take, urban nature, environmental experiences, situations and details we encounter. In the works in the exhibition, we aim to define the relationship between humans and their environment.
